About UsWelcome to the website of the Nation of Migration Party of Australia. We are a party built on the ideas of Australia as a multicultural and multifaith country. As one of the most multicultural societies in the world, migrants are probably the most significant influences when it comes to how our country is run and how our economy works. Migrants are one of the most hardest working people in our country and without them, Australia would definitely not be the strong, developed country it is today. We invite you to explore our website and contact us if you'd like to get involved!

Our Manifesto |
As a party, we believe that migrants are the stepping stones which we build our society and our country on. It's clear that current policies by the Liberal National Government do not take human rights into consideration. Yes, they may have 'stopped the boats', something the Labor Government failed to, but how exactly are the Liberal Government stopping boats?

In 2013, the Coalition Government has promised and planned to process people in open camps, not closed detention centres. Now in government, Tony Abbott's government sends even pregnant women to the stifling conditions of Nauru, further tensioning it tight muscles to the Australian audience. However, in a land where everyone gets a 'fair go', is this what Australians want? Is the solution to 'stopping the boats' also supporting the prolonged detention of women, children and vulnerable men and women? Is it slowing down our migrant intake? Does it go against what's quoted in our anthem "for those who've come across the seas, we've boundless plains to share"?
That's why the Nation of Migration Party wants Australia to assess, act and accept when it comes to migration. We need to assess our migration system all over again, reviewing and thinking about ways of how we can allow people in legally whilst also treating them according to human rights. We need to act, rather than talk, and make a commitment to the Australian people to act swiftly and get the job done. Moreover, we need to accept that migrants are important to our country and without them, we are not the developed economy and country we are today and that they are building blocks of our society today.
